go green, already!

Not powering your home or business with clean, renewable energy? Then it's about time you join Austin Energy's GreenChoice program. With GreenChoice, you'll pay a fixed green power charge that is unaffected by volatile natural gas prices. As the most recent fuel charge increases continue to take effect, GreenChoice customers will soon pay only a fraction of a cent (¢!) more per kilowatt-hour (kWh) than conventional power customers. By January 1, 2004, the average residential subscriber will pay only about $0.60 (that's 60¢!) more per month for GreenChoice. Best of all, you can make the switch to clean, green power right now in under 30 seconds. Encourage your friends, family and coworkers to make the switch, too - the more clean energy demand we create, the more Austin Energy will supply.
