These two plants, as proposed, are not the cleanest they could be and it commits us to 50 years of the dirtiest method of electric generation.

A TCEQ Commissioner admits they are not requiring the cleanest technology and asks for tools to make applicants build cleaner. Please take action to slow down the process and give the TCEQ those tools.

I agree with the policies of the Texas Farm Bureau, that the state should not permit a coal plant that is not at least as clean as a gas fired plant.

The health of my children and grandchildren should not be compromised to increase short-term profits for a huge corporation.
